How It Works

Impact Your Credit, LLC serves a function within the financial services arena, but distinguishes itself from “credit repair” companies by advising clients what should be disputed and what should be maintained.

Impact Your Credit, LLC utilizes a distinct business model to mitigate issues common to “credit repair” companies. Unlike most of the “credit repair” businesses out in the marketplace which utilize print advertising and web marketing (primarily pay per click) advertising, Impact Your Credit, LLC will primarily be driving its business through Mortgage brokers, realtors and word of mouth referrals.

Why has Impact chosen this model? It’s simple. Mortgage brokers and realtors are working with motivated clients who really want to get into a home. Motivation is the key factor. Credit repair must be worked with the direct involvement of the client; it is not possible to do it legally or effectively without that involvement. To ensure that Impact will have involved clients we have chosen to work with Mortgage brokers and realtors to help people who are motivated to follow the Impact program and who recognize that they are integral to making the program work.

How the program works is simple. A prospect is referred to Impact by a mortgage broker, for example, that client will sign a contract authorizing us to represent them and to help them through the process. At the outset, the client is charged to establish their case file, order the initial reports from each of the three credit bureaus and analyze the results after they receive the reports and send them to Impact Your Credit. Once the reports are analyzed, the client is advised as to what can be done and how long it might take.

At that point, the client will determine whether or not to proceed. If the client chooses to proceed, appropriate letters are sent explaining what is being disputed, and why, to the credit bureaus. The client will receive new reports within 30 days from the bureaus which they will then send to Impact.

In most cases, the program will have accomplished all that can be accomplished within four months. Frequently, it will take less time. During the period of time that Impact is working with the client, they will be billed a monthly subscription fee. The client can cancel at any point, but our model assumes the clients will stay with the program for about four months.
